Hey guys,i have bought this hideous piece of kit,but very clean car!
First things first is get rid of that sad excuse for an engine,how difficult is a sport engine to get in there? i would love to go down the redtop route but for insurance reasons that just isn't going to happen

Think the biggest problem is the loom on the 12v

North of scotland mate,i thought the loom would be a problem,me and my amte can do the conversionmhe is a mechanic but he dosnt know what is needed related to wiring,any advice would be fantastic,cheers!

take full interior out and take full loom out and fit full cors sport loom

is there no way around it,seems like alot of hassle? if i have to replace the full loom i will just leave the 1.0 in!

keep it 1.0 but just paint it all up so its looks brand new

You dont have to change the whole interior loom. Just the dash loom if you want it to be plug and play
Not as hard as its sounds. Just need to make a note of what goes where and you'll be fine.
Or you can modify the 1.0 12v dash loom if your mates confident with wiring

Cheers! yeah hes done a modern apprentiship in mechanics that includes old n new wiring,surely if he can rebuild a skyline he can convert my car,bloody hope so lol! if the loom has to be adjusted ill do that,any guides on doing it?
