Anyone got any decent tips on getting it at a nice decent price

If your parents have good records add them as named drivers. can remove a couple of hundred off with companies in the Admiral group.

As said, try adding someone else onto policy if you can. parking on street/drive and garage makes a difference aswell. sometimes drive makes it cheaper. lower annual mileage too.

Increasing the value of your car and putting a female driver down as a named driver seems to work for me.
