Why are you not insured? I've told me insurance company about the vehicles modifications so I'm still insured..regardless of what it's registered as..

You're "insured" but your policy will say that the car needs to be in a road worthy position, have an mot normally and be taxed. So if you crash, as your paying the wrong tax they could void your policy
