I'll be selling/ trading in my 182 as soon as I can decide on a new car.

Things it must be:

Pretty nippy
New 6-12 months old(may look at older if mileage is right)
Economical(Diesel pref)
White or black
Don't want something too big either

So far I have looked at 1 series M sports, 3 series M sports, scirocco's, and Leon's.

budget is somewhere in the region of 16k.

Help please!

I'd get an LCI 330d. Great to drive map really well and wont depreciate like a lead baloon.

You can maybe get a decent leon for that but nothing else on the list with decent miles under a year old for 16k, 3 year old 1.4 sciroccos are going for that.
