rite folks, problem!
bought my camping ticket and cant wait for PVS!!
i only need to get someone to cover 7-12 on the sunday morning but nobody will cover it, which is a bit unfair the amount of favours iv done others on my department?

what would you do? sick day?

i cant put a holiday in as iv already got them all in and other people have that weekend off

i need some advice

Phone in on the morning your due in & tell them you've shit yourself and turned back home.

true true, thought of all them but its the fact iv mentioned why i want it off when i tried to get it covered/swapped sooo it'l look suss. my new managers already on my case cos i refuse to lick her arse haha

3 mistakes:

you let too many people know you want it off
you don't lick manager ass
You didn't book it early enough

Can see them busting your nuts if you phone in sick with them knowing you wanted the time as holiday plus with other staff being off. should have been more organised.

and i put all my holidays in for this year long before xmas as im getting married.

I Tried to put my holidays in at asda but got told too many people asked for mid June so i told my manager I need the holidays because I wouldn't be coming in he sharp sorted something out.

Just don't mention it again and pretend all is fine and you will be working it. PVS still a while away so they might have forgot about it by then. Then just phone in sick.

Whats the worst that could happen?? Are you on any last warnings or anything??

Just because you've done them loads of favours doesnt mean they should drop all there plans to cover you because you wernt organised.

you get a disciplinary if you have 3 sick days in 6month and im on 2 but cant remember how long its been since the last one. should be clear by then hopefully

One of my mates has been sacked from asda Stanley. And tbh from what Iv heard they make it as difficult as they can for you to take time off and is full of wankers for management. We're I work we can have off what we want alsong as the works complete prior to that.
