im wanting an evo as a project but im looing for something like a evo 4 that may be a CAT D or something that needs some attention to it woth or without T&T im wondering what peoples advice on finding one is and about how much do you think i would be looking at paying for one cheers in advance

My mate is selling his for around 3.5k and theres bugger all wrong with it, plus it has an evo 6 engine with a little work.

bit of both really like so if i could get a cat D or something body wise would be good just want it to use as a real project that wont go on the road till im finished with it

I'd stay away from cat d's if possible, just for resale value. They're cheap for a reason. I've bought a few cat d's and found it hard to sell on, even when it was the cheapest in the market locally.

just got the wife a cat D C2 vtr for cheap like and had a few offeres for it but keeping it lol. ideally id like a one that might have been bumped but not declaird on insurance but hard to come accross been looking at a few scoobys but want an evo more

Any evo but make sure it's got a 5 motor onwards as there a lot more reliable

Have you ever owned an Evo? Or are you just going by what you see on the Internet?

Anyone that tells you to stay away from a 4 due to crank walk don't listen to them! Not as bad as people make it out to be!

They still have issues that later evos don't what does me owning one have to do with it??

The fact I run a garage and work on the likes of these cars must account for fuck all eh...

Must remember name on the logbook means total knowledge of a car...

Crank moves side to side ie movement from the flywheel to timing belt pully
