I've changed the pads, leaked the air and old fluid and replaced that..when the car is off the brake pedal feels fine but when it's running it goes back to feeling a bit strange
the car failed its mot because of this, also the exhaust was blowing...we've sorted that out now and it's even louder and grumbles alot better too 
there was one other thing it failed with too, headlights i think.
still does anyone know the solution to my brakes?

Have u topped up the fluid after u replaced it ?

yes
I think the car's also mis firing, like when u press the pedal the revs dont always come in instantly, is this a piston fucked or a spark plug not igniting?
