Happened to me once about 5 years ago, and a couple of weeks ago.

Woke up at 4ish, went back to sleep, then was half awake in bed, heard the stairs creak, our 3rd to top step creaks, only one, so freaked out, but couldn't move, was just lying in bed waiting for the door to open and someone to burst in, but unable to move! Properly weird.

Turns out the neighbours have the same step that creaks and it was theirs!

Every single time i wake up i cant move. Too cold outside the duvet, so i stay there for hours until i have no choice.

I often jump out of bed if Ive been dreaming about spiders etc.

The misses also said I was crying in my sleep the other night, which is a new one for me

I think its stress related
