Just fitted a new engine to my car, drove it about a mile and a half and I've lost nearly all the water in the header. Can't see no leaks what so ever, no patches on floor or in engine bay. Radiator seems full. Oil cap is whitty a bit But think that's because the engine has been sitting cold for a whole and not driven. Is there anything else it could realistically be. I don't think it's the head gasket ?
Thanks

Thermostate might of opened up, and drank the the water. Did you bleed it before you drove it.

heater matrix was working fine with the other engine so i dont think its that. although the heaters are working and blowing hot , could there still be an air leak thats causing this?
