Bought some banded steels for an absolute bargain of the imp club about 2-3 weeks ago, paid seller to post. he still had not posted and said he was working up here the other day and would drop them off... needless to say he didnt show. Sick of being messed around I raised a case on paypal, he is now sending threatening messages saying he will sort it out on Sunday face to face etc when hes up...

advice?

the wheels could be worth a lot more than the £140 I paid him

Let him "sort it out face to face". It will all be talk.

He'll just turn up and do the deal imo.

Well if he turns up and does the deal then surely the case can be closed on Paypal?

Just send a polite message to say sat that's fine by you but you'll leave the case open until the goods arrive

It sounds dodgy his taken so long to "post" them, a courier can do it hassle free at a time and place of the customers choosing, so for him to have taken that long just makes him look like his messing you around now.

Maybe you can tell him you will arrange a courier to collect them and probably best to speak to him on the phone, rather then just messages.

A Keyboard Warrior. GRRR.

What an idiot though. Cant see why it's so hard to package wheels and get them sent with no quibble.

I had a similar situation, raised a dispute and the guy was saying he'd bring me what I bought from him started being threatening saying I'd better drop the case etc. I just told him threats would oily help me get my money back and the case would be open until I got my item or money. He brought it in the end and I closed the case.

Don't rise to threats just be firm and confident.

Just tell him to fuck off and get your money back off PayPal.

What a fucking hardman loser, "face to face", if I wanted to go to your house and punch you in the face I'd have done it not threatened to do it over the phone first
