The astra never came with e leccy roof you can find them in the cavalier and carlton and if you feel as though you want a challange then go for the omega one touch roof...

yes it did
it was an optional extra on the astra mkIII 2.0 sport, but they are as rare as rocking horse shite to find in a breakers yard. they do exist though as this is the interior trim panel that you want when converting from manual to electric.
get the motor and switch from a cav/carlton/senator/omega/vectra
and the one touch sunroof works in the same way as the one touch leccy windows. they can be found in omegas and high end vectras (cd/cdx)

the omegas and high spec vectras have one touch sunroofs. i.e. u press it for a short while and it then closes /opens even when u've taken ur finger off the button. I.e. u don't need to hold down the button

The omega sunroof dont have a button as such its more like a knob that you turn for the amount you want the suroof to open but if you turn it to the open position when its closed it just opens.
Sorry Demo ive just never seen one and i couldn't find it on EPC...is the surround nice cos i wouldn't mind getting a better one then this cav surround.

no problem mate
take a look on EPC under astra mkIII. its hidden in a very obscure place, but it is definitely there. comes under something that you wouldnt think of looking in. it took me and my mate on the vaux parts counter well over an hour to find the damn thing. if you cant find it then i'll have a look at my copy of EPC when it arrives later this week and let you know where its hiding.
then you can have something like this when finished:

Dead easy fit once you got the parts, motor, switch+loom and surround. Fuse it with a 20Amp fuse. Took me bout 20mins fit, just unscrew old mech and plug in motor basically, every hole is already there waiting!!

cavalier Mk3 motor and housing will also fit the corsa b, but the astra 3 housing looks better (and is a better colour match).

Its a whole trim bit and that curved bit you see slides out so you can get to the motor. If you want it nice new lookin get in from vaux, but if you not bothered and see it with motor, why bother goin vaux
