Galaxy S3 as if you don't like it, it'll hold it's value quite well and you can get an iPhone.

Why are sales people in phone shops pratically jumping you as soon as you walk in? hate it.
One guy asked me what phone i was looking for the second i walked in!

Around here you seem to get that more with places like Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U rather than network shops i.e. O2/Orange/Vodafone etc.

I would wait a month or so for the bugs to be ironed out of the one x and the s3 and then go for one.of them.
I have a one x and luckily mine doesn't have any issues but there are about 10/12 deal breaking flaws, most have been solved via better quality control in manufacturing buts still some software bugs

This! Then you can join the others on CS with dodgy 'Home' buttons [/stirring]
One X or GS3 but obviously have a play with a load and make the decision yourself!

going with another android phone will be very much of the same.
imo the only thing worse than a fan boy is someone who avoids something specifically so theyre not a fan boy. the iphone is a great bit of kit and ios is nice and easy to use. go and have a play with one.

This! if you decide to jump ship to iOS as it'll only be a few months 'til the iPhone 5 (Q3/Sept-ish).

I had a play with the Nokia Lumia (Windows) pretty good, easy to use and if you have Xbox, it's compatible.

WinPho is currently the most secure (without slicing off the BGA's) phone as well
