What's the best oil to use in my c20let. My engines quite tappy so was hoping to get a thickish oil? Perhaps fully synth??
Would that work?

Any make work better than another?

cat go wrong with gm oil bud and its fairly cheap used to be 12quid for 5 litres think its went up to 15 now

I use 10w40 castrol GTX on my XE that's a bit tappy on first start from cold then quiets down once warmed up

i ust to use gm 10 40 or castral 10 40 now i use 15 40 no more oil leaks and runs nice and the oil isnot like cat piss dead thin

Always run 15 40 in mine.
It states 10 40 in all the books but that was when it was new not 15years old

sorry to thread crash and that but is it true that you have to use mineral oil when building one?

iv used 10-40 gtx
