I was with CIS up until last year, but when I informed them of my mods, they said they would add them to my details free of charge, but if i claimed, they would not be covered. If thats the case then why add the mods to my details in the first place I'm now with Direct Line who are cheaper and prepared to cover all modifictions.

he direct line told me they would cover only one mod, any more and my insurance was invalid, think its cause I was 17 years old when taking out my policy

I'm covered for 17's, full suspension, Induction kit, stainless exhaust, and they said they'll cover me for the kit i'm having fitted next week.

It seems that quotes and kinds of cover vary from place to place, for instance a mate of mine recommended Norwich Union, saying he had got a really good price with them, but when I rang they wanted £2000
