you can't adjust the chain. If you're getting a rattle the chain and tensioner need replacing.

Tensioner is oil fed, so check your oil first.

The plastic guides tend to snap and allow the chain to slap/rattle. Mine got so bad it wore a groove into the side of the block making to bottom end useless.
