Need a new oil pump and z20let pump works out cheaper, its going on my xe so need the moddified oil pick up pipe.
Anyone know who sells the moddified pipe?

or just buy a 1.7 derv one and extend it, its the same

that including the pipe aswell? the standard pipes ne good for let/xe blocks/sumps
i only give £11 or something silly for my old pump and it'd only done 33k

Pipe from baud is about 30-35 for z20let pump then just need it modified. Wonder if that diesel one is the one they make then charge 150 for? Wouldn't surprise me.

Only thing I could think of is the bits of weild getting into the oil system, but if the join has been ground down properly I cant see it being a problem

Mine is welded will see how long it lasts. So is the baffled sump.

Well tbh iin my entire time tinkering with engines not once have I ever seen a design of standard pick up pipe that doesn't have a weld in it...
For example the pick up head and pump flange are welded on the xe's.
