Isn't it filmed in Serbia/Hungary? Thought Chernobyl was in Ukraine?

dno i recognise some of the features and buildings though, unless they have recreated those

perhaps they did some of the inside filming where you say and did some exterior shots on location

Well the incident at Chernobyl occurred on an operational reactor for starters, Fukushima Reactor 4 was offline and the fuel rods had been removed at the time of the earthquake.

If reactor 4s fuel pool collapses there will be a shit load more radiation let off than chernobyl, and because the pool is already exposed to the elements makes it worse. There is no protection what so ever.

All it takes is another big earthquake to hit fukushima and that pool will drain.

people were made to encase the reactor at chernobyl in a concrete sarcophagus which has contained the radiation thus far, but apparently the concrete is collapsing and could potentially irradiate underground water resevoirs that feed large parts of europe

Probably, it's pretty safe to go there now, you can do tours, I'd love to see it.
