I did a test fit of my new rear bumper yesterday to make sure it didn't hit on speed bumps etc.. all went good, so i'll be going to the bodyshop in a week or two to get sprayed along with some other bits.
I need to get some lighting sorted for the number plate though, in the number plate recess in the bumper its about 1 1/4 " deep, can anyone recommend a light that is no wider than this, it doesn't matter how long it is. But I want one that sits into the bumper not in its own little pod.
Another option is one of those TVR number plates that light up them selves.
Does anyone know how much they are, and has anyone got any pics, as I haven't seen one yet.
Cheers ppl

get some sierra; granada or escort ones for about £2.50 from a scrappy, the njust wire them to the standar wiring.
Theyre quite slimline and so u wont se them particularly, but u need two to light each side of the plate

Cheers, But I was hoping to only go for one in the middle, similar to the original one, less cutting of the bumper etc..
Are there any other Vaux's that have a more slimline light, but just use one ??
Any info on those TVR plates guys ??
Cheers

I have one too, the rear plate allows light to shine through it, these have to be specially bought from TVR (about £30) for one! My bodyshop repairs tvrs and they just cut the whole recess out the back of a damaged cerberra. easy to make though just need some kind of boxed section behind the plate for the lights to be fitted to..

Hmmm.. the TVR one sounds like a bit of hassle, I'll have a look down the scrappies on my next day off I think, and see what I can find.
