well it will probably take 4 days to get to germany 2 weeks for them to process and 4 days to send it back
it takes roughly 10 days for a british passport

think it was about 10-14 days. did mine in february though, so might have been abit before the rush of people going away for the summer.

mine was paid for by work and so took advantage of the checking service at the PO - they look it over, check the photo is a fair match and send it off, gets processed quicker than way too

If you get your passport robbed in Vegas 2 days before you are meant to fly, you can get one in a day as my friend found out last week.
A nice cream one too

almost 3 weeks, came back last week but sent just before bank holiday, its around 2 weeks normally
