Morning guys right I've got a quick question I've got a V reg corsa I've just put my cd player in. When I switch the cd player on the date in my display gos off and when I switch the cd player off it comes back on also when I turn the key to off the cd player stays on untill I take the key out then the cd player gos off then when I put it back on its reset keeping no radio stations etc anyone had this before and know a fix for it

To fix the head unit keeping station etc you need to connect it up slightly differently to what the cables might sugest.
Been a long time since ive done it but iirc you need to put yellow to red. Your HU might even have the extra cable for it.

yeah, swap the red and the yellow wires. my last cd player had bullet connections on the wiring harness so it could be swapped easily
the date will always dissappear though

Done it cut the grey/red wire now the date state on and swapped the red and yellow over all now fine just wish vauxhall would make the wires longer so you can get to them lol

you and me both mate lol, I think the cable for radio is the worst offender for this.
