Recently acquired an 02' Clio, with a flashing emissions light and goes into to limp mode.

Idles around 500 really lumpy.
Plugged it into a diag machine and got a load of errors, cleared those and ran to see what would come up.
Base 1 02 sensor and misfire on cylinder 3 came back.

Replaced spark plugs and got a new pre cat lambda (last one was bodged connected and came apart).
Now the light is still coming on??

Found some advice on here about try pulling out HT leads and see if it bogs down when running.
Low and behold it cylinder 3 had no effect, yet i can hear it sparking.

What could it be? Injector? Im open to cleaning the throttle body if someone posts a pic.

Rich if the coilpack went would it stil sound like it's arcing when pulled out slightly?

Coil on cylinder 3, swap it from another cylinder and see if that works.

Forget that it's got a coil pack hasn't it. Tried swapping the leads about?

I thought it had coil like the 1.4 (I ended up swapping all 4 on a mates at different times due to similar description as yours.

Cba, on the iPad!

Just to eliminate a faulty leads, I expect you could swap the injector over as well. I'll have a look under he bonnet of my sisters tomorrow if you're still stuck.

coilpack. had to replace it once on my mums 03 1.2 and twice on my grandmas 02 1.2
