Right I want to lower my car 40mm, Whats the ride like on just springs? whats a good make to go for?
I have 15 inch alloys
What would u lot recommend?

the ride will be more bouncy that if u have full suspension kit.
apex and gmax seem to be popular makes

i had just springs for 3 years
was ffine and it never screwed my shocks.

My mate had Spax -40mm springs and 15's on his old Corsa. They were pretty good on standard shocks.
Before Spax he had Pi -40mm springs and they were shite! Didn't lower the car as much as the Spax and didn't feel as nice to drive either.

I can get GMAX springs 40mm for £65 brand new is that a good price and are they any good?

bout average price that. ordered 40mm gmax springs from motorworld got them 2day overall it cost 75 quid including p&p.
