Hi guys, was under my corsa 1.6 sport today to look how to take up the slack and adjust up the handbrake cable. only part i was able to see was the adjuster going across the rear beam. How do you adjust it from the handbrake itself as that is where the slack is? does the carpet need to come up?

sounds like the auto adjusters are not working on one if not both of your drums, you can adjust it through the wheel nut hole but it is a bit of a fiddly job. if there not adjusting you might have to take the rear drums off and free up the adjusters.
