the air con has stopped working on my astra. anyone recommend anywhere in or around coventry to get it looked at?

all of a sudden it seems. climate control so i may have not noticed for a week max as it wasn't the weather to be having it on low

Hold your revs at 3000 RPM, if it drops and makes a noise it is your compressor, if it doesn't then it needs re-gassing.

Halfords....£50 for the can, but try get somebody with a trade card.

just had a look at the car and the bottom bar has fallen of the condenser. a new condenser is £100 plus its not something you can change yourself as i am not sure whether the system is completely empty of gas or not.
