I would get an MOT on it and without looking at current prices but surely £1500 sounds about right, if not more. The 1.4s tend to sell easier and being a facelift will help. Looks a clean car.

Worth a grand all day long.

If you could MOT it would be easier to sell, could you not get a parent/friend etc to get day insurance on it? And take it for you? Then tax it, stick it up at £1795 and I'm sure it wouldn't hang about for long. One on trader with 80k in black for £1995

I would say about £700/£800 as it stands.

No tax = £140 for the year ?
MOT = up to £50
No hand brake cable means you need a drive or garage to keep it so it can be fixed.

Decent condition 1.2 sxi of that year go for about £1500 max so with all those problems.

Been offered a grand, we'll see if the guy shows up.
I'm only just back from uni ad working all week and seeing the mrs at weekends so not found time to fix the handbrake and mot it.

His is a 1.4 SRi though. Wheels are worth £300 ish if good condition, and mirrors will fetch £150 all day long. Headlights and rear lights will do £100+ iirc. Could easy make £1k breaking.

I'd buy it and fix it but can't quite justify that cash at mo.

It's just a 1.4 corsa with no tax, mot and a broken hand break cable to most people, so based the price upon that.

Cambelt is needed at 80k I believe to so if there isn't history of this it's going to the cost the next person £250 for that alone.

Once again based the price upon the little information given.

I see what your saying, but the sort of person to want an SRi would be a young lad IMO. Who is willing to chuck some cash at it and fix it.

And it's chain on them not belt. Although no history is mentioned. I'm tempted!

Forgot about history, that's its weak point it has none. Guy I bought it off died in afghan, when I rang him after his tour I was met with a distraught girlfriend so didn't ask for the service book. And I've serviced it myself while I've had it (qualified mechanic)
Webuyanycar.com offered £1400 with no history but an mot.
Like the above it would split for a grand though so I'd do that rather than let it go for nothing. All wheels are I good condition with a set of p-zero nero's on so worth good cash.

The guy before didn't show up so if anyone wants it a grand takes it.
