im planning to have 1 of the above conversion done this summer, but i cant seem 2 find ne gd 2lt turbo engines (4 my budget). if i was to fit a 2lt 16v, can the engine b easily turboed at a later date????

it can be done, but is quite expensive hense not worth it

save up more and just keep searching mate, ull find a gooden sooner or later

iv looked in a couple of scrappies, n then mainly on migweb, altho they usually r quite expensive on there.

n then iv jus bin offered a low milage 2lt n wondered if it could b turboed l8r.

but mayb i'll jus spank student loan!!!!

not worth fitting a turbo, as buy the sound of it your on a budget. and will cost u about 2k for a turbo to be fitted to a C20XE, if u want a turbo save for a C20Let work out cheaper in the end

C20XE go for 500
C20LET go for 1000

long run ......
C20XE = 500
turbo conv = 2k (easy)
total 2500 (and most are low PSI ones)
