Didn't realise so many people are without power! This bit made me laugh...

About two hours after the grid failure, power ministry authorities said some alternate arrangements had been made. “We are taking hydro power from Bhakhra Nangal Dam,” in northern India, said Sushil Kumar Shinde, the power minister, in a televised interview.

when I was in Goa last year they had power cuts every single day over there

Need some investment in their infrastructure - certainly if they are classed as a growing economy

went to Candolim - fly to Dabolim

Went to Anjuna, Mapusa, Dudhsagar etc
