Pretty standard practice to be honest-I had to drop a brand new £300k boat from 4metres above the water the other day followed by capsizing it using a crane to show that it would self right! Definitely a few tense moments

Those Ribcrafts are a reasonable deal to be fair, don't quite know how Ribcraft can afford the Olympic lease deal on 78 boats but meh. They spoke to us but we simply couldn't justify the outstanding expense to do it

That's the kind of thing that would happen to me

In fairness it's not fitted out so the vcg and hence stability will be well off-unlikely to have much of its heavy equipment in place at that launch
