1) I took off my steering wheel to fit an omp one. So i removed the airbag and traced the wires back to a box under the ashtray, which i removed and cut all the wires out! Am i right in saying all these wires were only for the airbag?
2) What is this for? as it came apart but put it back together as best as i could lol
3) Am i right in saying this just clips onto the ignition barrel?
4) Is there any way i can move this?
5) Is it possible to move this wire thats onto the handbrake? and to where?
6) Whats this box for?
7) Whats this?
8) Whats this?

4) its just an earth so can move it anywhere you wanted really aslong as it was still attached to the body.
5) is for the handbreak light and IIRC its a negative switch so could be removed, if it is a negative switch u will need to put it to body to avoid the light comin on.
6) is your ecu for your abs.

Okay thanks, So 5) i can just rip it out, but the light will be on the dash? and 6) i dont have Power steering, so can i just rip this box out and trace all the wires to the fuse board and remove them?

Basically but 6 is abs not power steering

2.) Is your ignition switch make sure your ignition still works correctly mine came apart i thought i had put it back together but it didn't work so had to buy new one
3.) Is immobiliser it goes arondd the key / ignition barrel.
4.) Can be moved anywhere but would need wire tracing back. Dont completely remove it.
5.) If you take it of your handbrake light will either be permantly on or permantly off.
6.) Is anti- lock braking system if you remove that it wont work. And leave a constant abs light on dash (which is mot fail iirc)
7.) Looks like fuel pump relay car wont start without it.
8.) Would need to see inside that case to see what it is the control off.

Is that a GSi? Just that ABS is quite rare on other models.
