completely clueless on this area tbh, so few questions...

currently wheels 17" (unsure on width) 5 x 112 et 45

wheels i have seen
5 x 130
8.0J x 18" ET57 front
9.5J 18" ET46 rear

So obviously i will need adapters to go from 5x112 to 5x130 however, ET's... is it the higher the number the further in the arch they sit? so i will need adapters that also act as spacers?

if i do how wide can i go to get them to where they are now?

or have it got it the wrong way around in which case the wheels wont fit at all?

I believe ET size just means the mm from the center of the rim to the hub, so ET45 to ET57 will mean a difference of 12mm, so the ET57 wheels would sit further inside the arch but it also depends on the rim width (8.0J) for the ET57 if it will cause rubbing or not.

Best to find out the maximum ET size recommended for your vehicle and work out what size spacer you can get away with, best to try and get the smallest one possible.

My porsche wheels are et 53 and 8" rear 15mm adaptor made them et38. The corsas standard et is 49 at 5-6 inch wheels.

I still have enough room for at least another 5mm poke. So there should be enough room there depending on the standard et of the leon. I do have stretched tyres tho. So if your happy running stretch then all is well mate

Higher the et closer to the inside
Lower the et further away (more sticking out by the wheel arch )

standards et 45 afaik.

so rears that i am looking at are et46 so doesnt give a great deal to play with, as im sure mine are only 7 or 7.5j at the moment so 9.5j isnt going to work
