I've had my sky contract 2 years this December but I want to terminate it this October. Can I do this without incurring any costs?

usually 12 months then 1 month rolling unless youve took out a special offer then they usually tie you in for another 12

As above, 12 months unless you've upgraded to something over the phone / internet since you took it out - then it could potentially be 12 months from that date.
Why do you want to end? If you phone up and ask for any "deals" or say it's too expensive you'll get a cracking deal - if you speak to the retentions department.

I just didn't know if it was a 12 month contract then rolling monthly. I guessed maybe someone here may have terminated a contract before.

30 days notice on it once you surpass a year, I cancelled mine after 20 months when I rented out my house. Make sure you cancel everything you have with them though. I have heard about them cancelling TV but nit phone and net etc.
