http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/connecttest.html

Read the "Connecting to PlayStationŽNetwork" section near the bottom of that page.

nice one cheers but if my routers asking for port ranges per rule..do i need to setup a single rule for each?

ie how would i do port 80, specify 79-80 in one rule then move onto 442-443? or just one big rule from port 79 - 3659?

i needs all the below, but exluding ports that other devices are using

TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480, 5223, 8080 and UDP: 3478, 3479. 3658

You use the same port number i.e.

start = 80
end = 80

start = 443
end = 443

and so on

Do it by MAC address (easiest option) or at least specify the (static) IP address of the PS3 if doing port ranges otherwise the QOS rule will prioritise other devices that use those port ranges.
