Basic jist of it can be found here - S2N isn't going to happen for a couple of years, so they will do their other European one, Home2Rome - http://www.streetsafari.com/streetsafari-events/home2rome/
I'm definitely doing again next year, but will get my own snotter to do it.

Certainly looked like a good laugh though, was when i did C2C a few years back.
Did the lead organiser still drive around in his mustang? Or did they actually get involved on this trip?
Was it still the £100 banger budget or have they changed that now?
Tom - Sign up to a rally, buy a banger (within the given budget) and attend; simple as that really.

Organiser was punting round in a Fiat Doblo van, with another couple of guys in a Renault Scenic
The budget this year was £250, and up to an S Reg
There were a fair few cars that were veterans this year though, hence some not looking like £250 cars...

I've been wanting to do one of these sorts of rallys for a while - always look awesome!
Trouble is I'm crap at mechanics so need to persuade somebody who is to come with me
I'll look at that link you posted later, but roughly how much does this sort of thing cost? (car excluded)

Cost wise for us roughly;
Fuel was 6 tanks at UK similar prices
Ferry Crossing was around £100
Tolls around £75 all in (we went the longer routes to avoid most French Tolls)
Hotels were around £60 - £80 per night (triple rooms as there were 3 of us)
Food & Drink varied - generally around £25 per person per day at the most
Also factor in a rally registration fee, i don't know the amount though.
Best bet is to go as a pair at least to split costs, and if possible, find something Diesel powered as you do around 3000 miles altogether.

Cheers mate
Yeh would be looking to go with a 2 or 3 more people probably - or divide that between 2 cars. Other one I looked at I can't remember the name of but it started at Goodwood (20 mins from me) and you couldn't have an engine bigger than 1.0
