I would imagine it,s the same as fitting a b204 engine in a corsa, can be done with a saab box but easier to use a f28(corsa b) and f23(corsa c) and chassis mods needed.b205 runs t7 management which is harder and dearer to get working than t5. astra nige, steviet have done saab vauxhall conversions a few times now,i stopped my conversion because it was not suitable for my use track/road because of the front end weight increase.

DERV-POWER (Or something to that effect) put a B204 in his corsa van, converted it from diesel to petrol.
From what he told me it was quite awkward but doable, rather tall engine.

They are taller yes,9000 engine is taller than a 900 one also.
I have done a saab 900 b204l in to astra mk3 gsi and looked in to and started a 900 b204l in to corsa b in june last year but as i said stopped it because it would be no good for track use.
A few people have done it now don`t know what the quality is tho,got to be good or will be ripping itself appart.
