Been to Lanzarote about 20 odd times.

Where you are looking at is in Costa Tequise which is ok, its always really windy there as I recall. Its a pretty windy island to begin with but even more so in Costa Tequise.

I normally stay in Puerto Del Carmen. Huge beautiful beach.

Ive been in December over Xmas and New Years before and the weather was still really hot.

Really nice place and had a lot of money spent on it over recent years, I havent been for a few years now but parents still go twice a year and still love it.

Are you bringing kids? Looking at the website, that resort seems uber family friendly. Would definitely put me off.

I went to the Canaries end of Jan and would not say it was 'hot' more that it was reasonably warm. Temperatures averaging 18-20 but some days you would need a hoody on the beach. Defo very cold in evening.

We had one day where it was 24, then the next day wind changed and it was 18 but cold wind on the beach.

Think of it this way, will feel boiling compared to what temperatures will be in England, especially in Liverpool
