I was going to take my own car to this event as it fitted into the theme 'soft top sunday', but I was fortunate enough to be able to take my girlfriends brothers car insead to the GBC meet on Sunday morning.

It was my first time at 'breakfast club' and I was really impressed by the scale of it - completely free event with a fantastic selection of cars with a good relaxed feel to it. Only downside was paying £5.50 for a dirty bacon roll with only 1.5 rashers in.

The car was well recieved, 1 of 3 californias on show but was the only Red one. Performance is not as epic as you may expect but the car is undoutedbly 'special'.

Had an Mercedes SLS before this...and this is his second California.

I had always overlooked the breakfast club meets, but providing the weather is always fair - I will be going to more.

Yeh they're usually pretty good events - although annoying that the MX5 fraternity seem to be able to blag their way on to display whatever the theme

Not a bad car to be able to turn up in either

He is very laid back. It's only a car after all, and its insured. It's not wrapped in cotton wool and let's close friends and family enjoy it too
