I have a K&N air filter and it is brilliant, adds that extra sound and have never gone wrong with it. Was easy to install...... Don't know about any others have never had anything else except for K&N..

Get a panel filter.
If its M reg I would have thought its the x16xe engine and will take a normal fitment filter as you have no AFM

I have a friend who drives a Gsi 93' and hes an Opel mechanic. He told me that for performance you should get a panel filter. But if you want sound get a cone.Maybe a drilled air box?

The BFO Cone will be fine on your GSi. The only GSi's it won't fit are the 93-94 models with the C16XE engine.
