Not that I don't think the whole this is dubious but to be fair they did more than that - had a fake TV show segment, had their car mechanic talking about it etc.

The most believable would have been Polished Bliss doing a detailing thread on removing tar on their customers cars left by meteor trails and Blukoo had reposted it
