90 standard, bit more with those mods but it would need proper management to see proper gains.

140bhp from a 1.4 is 100bhp specific output. If you look at it in terms of output for the size there are very few naturally aspirated engines which break 100bhp per litre.

No chance. Simples.

About 110bhp with them changes tbh.

20 - 25 bhp gain depending on the condition of the engine. you would need a remap or better management to get the most out of it though. gas flowed head and rebuild bottom end you may get up to 125bhp with good mapping and the right cams. to go past 100bhp per litre will required big money but it is possible to do this n/a.

My old 1.416v

Standard Inlet

Hiflow (PMC from memory) exhaust manifold
2.5" decat and straight through system
Piper cams (264duration, max could go without pocketed pistons)
large K&N cone
UNICHIP remapped with superchip to raise idle and revlimit (to make the most of the cams... had arp rod bolts, metal cam rollers etc)

I'd say 125bhp is doable but you would need rev limit increased and some lumpy cams
~115bhp at the flywheel. Cant remember the torque

I'd say 120 with a remap and higher rev limit.

My old 1.4 had similar spec but no cams and made 116bhp, different inlet though so mate even slightly more?

My x16xe has 140.5bhp 4-2-1 full system with de-cat, vx inlet 256 cams port and polish head rebuilt bottom end with management, thats probably the max without ITBs, so 120bhp on a 1.4 with same mods and 110bhp with what you got. Maybe more sense to make it a 1.6
