Saw this mentioned before so there is no cable hanging over the rocker cover.

Would this cause any problems using the shorter cable?

Yeah it doesn't fit as well, makes it stick and hold the throttle open.

It can be done using the standard if you trim down the outer casing just before the plastic adjuster though

I used a standard XE one and it was fine on mine. I have a 12v one though if you want it?

Standard yes, but you can tuck it through under the inlet.

Mine comes out of the pedal, through underneath the center of the inlet and then curled up to the throttle body.

May have to do it like that then,don't want to use a 1L one if it it makes the throttle stick open a little.

I meant that my original made it stick a bit thats why you have to cut the casing a bit, the 1l one should be fine

1600 16v cable is longer. iv got both 1600 and 1l here if your passing mark..
