I'm a proper ungrateful prick when it comes to people asking me for my christmas wishlist.

I don't 'wish' for anything. I buy stuff when I need it. Our cupboards are filled to the brim with hardly ever used shit that we're given each year for chrismast, birthdays etc.
Now I need to come up with more shit that I can wish for, even though I'll hardly ever use it...

Exactly this! If I want something in that price range, I just buy it. I don't put it on a list and hope to receive it.

Anything on that list is shit that isn't important enough for me to go and buy it my self...

The wife and I actually did that once.

In 2009 we were showered with gifts to a point where we could hardly fit it all in the Corsa. We also had a huge gift budget that year.
Same year we heard that support for families in need had been at a record low and we just felt sick.

So we told the family as early as January that we wouldn't do gifts that year but donate our entire budget to charity. We also encouraged other family members to do the same with the budget they'd set for our gifts.

It was a disaster.

I'm actually quite certain that our mothers though we did it to spite them and ruin christmas.

Well productive morning.

12 Robbie Williams tickets purchased this morning only 2 left now.

That should contribute to Christmas, and free tickets, can't decide if I want to go.

Good idea really. End of the day, i spend x amount on our lass, she spends the same on me. Completely pointless exercise!

After spotting a comment of yours yesterday, don't buy a Combo, I'm not liking mine today. The mixture of an inefficient heater and lack of a proper bulkhead means they're a bit sht in winter, I've had to have a thick hoody on, with the hood up all this morning because my van won't get warm

Currently at Oxford services btw.
My car is exactly the same It's just starting to give me half decent heat by the time I get to work, which is about 5 miles away, unless the traffic is bad and I end up stationary for a while. So it's nothing new to me
