Anyone reccomend a decent camera? Must be switchable and have infrared .
Also want a fixed wall dome

If its compoite anything with a Sony SuperHAD CCD will be fine ..
Also depends on your DVR, you can buy a 720TVL camera and plug it into a DVR that has a max of say 420TVL and you'll end up having colour depth problems and an image that looks worse than a cheaper camera.

cheers davey . Not after anything fancy tbh just something thats reasonable . So is more TVL better?
as long as its colour and changes over to b+w with infra red and clear am happy .

Got a samsung one knocking about that'll do the job. You can have it as part payment for some catering gear.
Might even have a spare DVR

I'll bob over tomorrow aft.
Just checked, its not infra red or external.
I do have a IR external one, we have used loads of them and the picture is good enough for the police. Will need to test it though. I'll let you know

More TV Lines = better resolution but you need a DVR that supports it other wise it looks gash.
I've got 3 CCO modules kicking about, they are fantastic in low light conditions but black & white all the time.

Search google for a company called cop security in Oldham. They have a few different ranges of cameras and dvr's. I use this company threw work can't fault them.
