Many years ago in my student days when I worked in a car wash, a customer pulled up and placed his order, went in his back pocket for his wallet by standing up in his seat, floored the accelerator and did a similar thing to the car wash. Had to lift the vertical brushes off his roof.

On my first week's work as an apprentice I went up to an old woman's house. She'd just got a Volvo estate auto, first auto she'd driven. Driving into a double garage she went for the brake but, presumably mistaken by two pedals instead of three, missed and nailed the throttle. She bounced off the leg for the garage door, through a partion wall across the back into the utility room, through the kitchen cupboards and shoved the back stone wall of the garage all over the garden.

The indian restaurant we were at on my birthday in yarm about 5 years ago had a merc plow through it about 10 minutes after we left, eas a load of photos on newspaper websites etc

Drive was ok after she came out of her korma
