Been hearing that a 1.0 loom is harder to wire to a XE loom.
Can anyone tell me how its different to any other corsa loom?
and what needs to be done?

Dont know much on the electrical side of things, but always know theres folk on here to help!!

Cheers

Its easy, don't know why everyone says its hard as its actually very simple. I spent days stressing out about the wiring when I was doing mine and its actually very simple.

I'd never done any wiring of any form before when I done mine, didn't even know how to use a multi metre and I done it as per the guide below and it fired first turn

Also, you should have this plug in your engine bay,

If you look at the wires going to the plug there should be one thats blue/green, this is for your oil pressure.

You need to cut the blue green wire out and join it onto your oil pressure sensor which is on the oil pump

While you have your engine out feed all the wires from the ecu in the 1.0 engine bay back through to the footwell. easier to do while the engine is out

So I cut this blue/green wire at the end of the plug and wire it to the oil presure!

Then snip this plug off and pull the wires back into engine bay?

Then wire these xe wires to the wires that I pulled through?

Yes just colour match them up. Remember the bridging of the fuel relay behind the glove box otherwise no fuel

IIRC the only wire I needed out of that plug was the blue/green, the rest weren't used. Leave the blue/green in the bay and do whatever you want with the rest

If you look on your old 12v engine loom you should see a blue/green wire with a 1 pin plug, cut it off and join it to the blue green from that 5 pin plug.

Get a bit of wire and a male spade connector on each end.

Pull out your glovebox and you will see the relays behind there. Find the relay that has these wires, 2 red/blues, 1 red and 1 brown/red. Pull the relay out and get your bit of wire you made with the 2 spades and join the 2 red/blue wires with your wire. It will just push into the slots where the relay was

That plug was from the 12v loom, so i need to cut the blue/green wire and then look for an other blue/green wire with a 1pin plug and connect them?

That 5 pin plug I posted was on the 12v loom mate. Is it a 5pin plug on the xe loom I'm ment to cut? Confused!

These are the two relays I have, one dosent have a relay on it :/

What one is it I'm ment to bridge?

Also you said there's a 1 pin plug on the 12v loom, there ain't any 1pin plug anywhere? :/

There should be one somewhere with a blue/green wire, would have have went to the oil pressure switch. If you need one I think I have one.

The one you need to bridge is the one in the bottom pic, just bridge the 2 red/blues.

Right mate, in my engine bay these are the only three plugs I have. The other plugs are all for the front lights.

The 5 pin plug on there, your saying to cut the green/blue wire off, then attach it with a plug that has a 1 pin on it?

I have this but of loom which I cut off the 1.6 gsi I had, which has a 1 pin plug on it. So will I just cut the 1pin plug off it and attach them together with a crimp?

The plug in the above photo dosent clip into anyhing in the bay. As its off the 1.6. So ill just use the 1pin plug off it yeah?

Is this correct for bridging?

Exactly as you said mate, take the blue/green out of that 5 pin plug, take that one of the GSi loom and join it to it, make sure to leave a fair bit of length on it as it goes to the oil pump on the back of the block.

And you've bridged the relay exactly how I done mine

That 2 pin plug goes to the gearbox I think, for the reverse light switch.
Them 2 wires I'm not sure about.
