Have ordered myself an iPad for Christmas and need to get a case for it

The Apple smart covers are good while in use on account of being thin and light, and you can either use it as a stand or flip round to cover the back while you're holding it.
When you need to sling it in a bag, the Sena Kutu leather case is very nice used in conjunction with a smart cover.
I'm not a fan of the 'portfolio' cases that turn it into a book with a flappy hard cover - too bulky.

nowhere near as good no. although that said my genuine one is starting to fray around the edges, bought it in january though
