Did you apply some sort of gradient filter to the second and third photos? They look a bit strange, with the shadows clipped in the top part of the picture.
I can appreciate that you've been toying around with some different editing here, but generally I've got say it doesn't really 'work' for me.
Think I would have enjoyed the shots more if they were just good old fashioned colour photos.
Do you generally use the Provia/standard film simulation or have you had a play with some of the others? I've found that the Velvia option in combination with DR400 works really well for my taste.
On a side note, have you downloaded the latest firmware update? The quick menu that comes up when you press the RAW button is a major improvement for the cameras usability, imo.

Yeah had a bit of a play with the filters, appreciate they are not the best but just thought I would have a bit of trial with different settings
New firmware is a huge improvement IMO
Great camera for just shooting away
