i have a corsa b w reg 2000 with a subwoofer installed when the bass hits my headlights dim.
i thought this would be the sub is too powerfull for the car so i unplugged it now i have noticed that when i have the indicators on or evan setting off from traffic lights that my dash dims and sometimes my headlights what could be causing this?

duff battery or alternator. get them tested


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

new battery in april so think altinator any idea how much one costs?

check the battery leads and earth points, is the drive belt tight? at a guess £50 -£100 maybe avalible as service exchange.

I'm a bit o a noob how would I check them I know I have continuity between the bat and the nut that hold the earth strap to body

make sure they are clean, not rusty or corroded and they are tight.

To be honest they look abit messy are the bat terminals supposed to have oil on them and where are the main earth points I know there is one from the bat to the body is there any others??
