I like mine because it features the make of my car, the year it was registered and my initials. And nothing else that's superfluous.
Hence it being utterly appropriate as far as i'm concerned. It is also a completely standard spaced and age related plate so it's totally legit.
It was also a birthday present so I didn't have to pay for it. Which was nice.

Mine was also a Birthday present from an ex.

Unfortuantly she couldn't get J16 NJP, so she got T16 NJP.

Tues 16th - Date I was born
NJP - Initials.

I'm happy with it.

1632 AW is Ł2500 on eBay.

Numbers mean nothing though, but think it would look cool.

If you've got an OK looking car a private plate makes a surprisingly big difference. Doesn't apply to OP obviously.

I just want a 5 or 6 digit plate so it fits the Jap sized hanger better on the front bumper without being an illegal plate.

Thought about K70 WND. (K Townend)

Got a nice copy and paste here from the internet, so i can feel better about my opinion.

"Basically we are all competing in a giant monkey pack, trying to stand out, the reason most people buy a personalised number plate is for an ego boost.

If someone buys a Porsche they can claim it's because it is a high-performing car, as well as a status symbol. You can't say that about these plates as they do nothing, it makes them a very pure indicator of how people see their status.

Often they are not aware of this, it's not a conscious thing. It doesn't make them bad people, it's just human"

Love both our private plates

Changes the look of the car IMO. Hated having NA52 DRV on my VRS and now have T13 AAW and it looks sooo much nicer.

If i had an old car, i'd want people to know it's age.

The main reason to have a private plate on my car is to look a bit more professional. I wanted to sticker the car up to advertise but at the moment i do more work for other companies than i do my own.
