Hero 3 battery is a lot smaller infact the whole thing is smaller. I have both if you need any dimensions.

Battery is 22g

With Battery 75g (53g without).

With battery and in waterproof case 159g

Not had a problem with jello vision still not tuned the naza though to sort out vibes
