I went, it wasn't too bad to be honest to start with, didn't turn up till 9:30, dodgy one way system out of Waterloo but got right by the London Eye, portaloos, great crowd and brilliant atmosphere. Everyone dancing away and generally having a good time. Fireworks were awesome as we were so close.
Then it got shit, the worst diversion in the world took us a damn long way around Waterloo, what should be a 2 min walk took an hour and a half literally getting crushed by everyone trying to channel into a thin entrance to Waterloo, only to find all trains had gone. Then you weren't allowed to exit the station so we just headed south on the underground which was quiet by this point (2:30am) and luckily knew someone with a minibus who took us home and got home at 4am cause of traffic. We'd have been stuck up there still otherwise thanks to the crowds. I find it stupid they don't run later trains especially when their stupid one way system caused the hold up! It was a good night and I'm glad to say I experienced it but the journey home puts me off tbh

Well it was shit. Had car full of people arguing with me told to get in their boot, I said I wouldn't fit.
He then gets out, goes to boot and gets baseball bat out....
Then some knobs on way home, start having a
Dig saying me
And friends slave to governments as my job, and said I got it as I'm white.. Then called us milky.
Stood up started having go back.
Then loads their friends started appearing. This was all on a packed train. I don't even remember all of it, but it was pretty serious and very close to kicking off.
Shut last time. Abit this time

I went, fireworks were amazing, few lairy dickheads in the crowd going crazy right near old people and little kids! Saw a few punch ups, police escorting a few people about, saw a couple of people chasing pick pockets!!
Once the fireworks finished it was a fucking nightmare, I dread to think how many people were being shoved around like sheep on the way back to Waterloo!
Glad I done it for the experience, but next year I will happily sit in front of the tv with my feet up and watch it!

Went last year and fully intended to go again this year but the GF was working 9am today
Was brilliant last year. The GF's Dad lives in Croydon so I drove there then we got the tram / underground into London. Walked to the embankment and stood around from about 8.30-9pm. This did get a bit boring but we weren't rammed in too much etc. Left the moment the fireworks finished and headed for the underground (can't remember which one but several of the nearby ones were shut off as a form of crowd control!) and didn't have any issues at all. Got back to Croydon for about 1am but did't actually get home till 5am!
I hate London at the best of times and really wasn't looking forward to it, but genuinely really enjoyed it once I was there!

I said I'm well offended at being called white. He then said are your parents? To which I said yes. That's when he said that's why I had a job.
At which point, I said no is because I got off my arse went to school, applied for a job and didn't speak like you during it. To which point he said "ok rich man, how much you have in your pocket" I told him
About £30. He told me he has £400. I told him
How impressed I would of been if I was 12.. He then said he hasn't really?
Absolute moron.

My wife and I went with some friends. Never again.
Didn't get back to their house in Richmond till about 3am.
We did have a good view, until some smacked off their face Indian blokes stood infront of us and went mental, one of them was actually hallucinating and thinking he could see things moving on the floor.
I'm glad I can say I've done it at least once, but yeah I'll never do it again, and certainly wouldn't dream of taking kids

I was on one of the bridges mate (pretty sure it was Lambeth Bridge) but it wasn't one of the main ones that were closed in.
Ruined our evening really, although we should of moved before but we had a good view so didn't want to, plus we didn't want to be one of the people who stands infront of someone else who has been waiting like us!
